Srondoire Gets Green Light From The Council

The Sròndoire Community Wind Farm planning application was unanimously approved by Argyll & Bute Council, when the Planning, Protective Services and Licensing Committee met at Kilmory on Wednesday 23rd October. Sròndoire is the 6MW, three turbine sister project to the successful Allt Dearg Community Wind Farm. Construction works are due to start next spring and the wind farm should be in operation by autumn 2015.

Allt Dearg Partners' delighted at the success of "Community Benefit"

Allt Dearg Trust hands out first educational grants

The Allt Dearg Educational Trust has started to support 17 young people through the 2013/14 academic year, to the tune of over £37,500. The successful applicants, all from Mid Argyll and Cowal, will be receiving their cheques within the next couple of weeks.
