After five cloudy Windy Bus Tour trips over the summer months, visitors at the sixth and final trip of the season on Saturday 6th September were rewarded with clear(ish) skies and the fantastic views over to Jura and the Islands, and down Loch Fyne.
Allt Dearg Community Wind Farm introduced a monthly bus trip to the wind farm over the summer months in 2013. This has again proved very popular with local and passing visitors to the area. Over 150 people used the free bus service in 2014 to explore the turbines up close and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of the hill. The Trips will resume in Spring 2015 in time to see the new Srondoire Community Wind Farm being constructed.
