Allt Dearg and Srondoire Community Wind Farms will be operating the popular wind farm bus tour one Saturday a month from April through to September, with the exception of July. Due to local demand the size of bus has been increased to ensure as many as possible can enjoy this unique view of Argyll.
The tours will run on 4th April, 2nd May, 6th June, 8th August & 5th September. Tickets are free, although numbers are limited, so they should be booked in advance from John and his team at the Peter Law & Son store in Ardrishaig.
Since the tours started in 2013 over 300 visitors have enjoyed the trip to the Allt Dearg site, getting a close up view of the turbines and a new view of Argyll. Visitors will also be able to see the construction of the Sròndoire Community Wind Farm with the turbines of this sister project to Allt Dearg due to go up in July.
